SoundFonts are files that contain recorded audio samples of various musical instruments like Bass Guitars, Organs, Pianos, Synth leads, and much more. SoundFonts are similar to VST plugins except they are one single instrument sound. To play a SoundFont you will need a SoundFont Player. Software like FL Studio already comes with a SoundFont player. NOTES: The Soundfont Player is only available in 32 Bit FL Studio. See a workaround here. Fruity SoundFont Player is an advanced sampler which can load SoundFont2 instruments, drumkits, or collections. This plugin uses the LiveSynth SF2 rendering engine. SoundFonts are an excellent way of replicating acoustic instruments such as string or brass. VibroMaster is a sampled vibraphone. It contains 42 stereo samples from the University of Iowa Electronic Music Studios public domain library. You can use a sustain pedal to play with full release notes, but if you don't have one, you can switch from Short to Full release with the midi notes A2 (57) for short and B2 (59) for full.
